OP02 Paramount War Pop Report (2026): PSA 10 Population for Every Chase Card
On this page
There are 7,941 PSA 10 OP02 Paramount War chase cards in existence across the 17 English printings with resolved population chains — and this page lists every one of them: the exact PSA 10 population of every OP02 chase variant (alt arts, the manga rare, SECs, SPs, box toppers, promos), with the gem-mint price next to each count. PSA's own population report sits behind a login; ours is free and refreshed monthly. One Piece populations work nothing like vintage Pokémon's — this is a four-year-old market where the census is still being written — so read this next to the OP02 price guide and the pop-report explainer, and see what the complete OP02 chase set costs for the price side of the same data.
How Many PSA 10 OP02 Paramount War Cards Exist?
7,941 PSA 10s across the 17 tracked English chase printings with exact GemRate chains, from 9,149 total PSA gradings. (8 of 25 tracked printings have no resolved chain yet — including the $4,000 Manga Rare Ace and both SP alt arts — those are omitted from the census below rather than guessed at, and Japanese printings are excluded throughout.) The table is the census, scarcest first — and the scarcest card in the whole set is a $18 base printing, not any of the alt arts collectors chase.

Base or Alt Art: Which OP02 Variant Is Rarer in PSA 10?
The plain printing — on the one number where OP02's census gives a clean read, by more than seven to one. OP02-041 Monkey D. Luffy resolves both ways: the alt art sits at pop 589 against just 80 for the set-stamped base printing. It is the same inversion vintage Pokémon shows with 1st Edition stamps — the version worth grading gets graded, and the plain printing quietly becomes the scarce one. OP02-120 Uta shows how young this census still is: her alt art (pop 704) outnumbers the SEC and the set-stamped base printing (pop 622 apiece), but only barely. And as in OP01, the census and the price tags point in opposite directions — the pop-80 base Luffy trades at $18 while the alt art, seven times more common in gem mint, trades at $83.
How Many PSA 10 Manga Rare Aces Are There?
No exact count exists yet — the Manga Rare Ace (OP02-013) is one of the 8 tracked OP02 printings whose GemRate chain has not resolved, which means the set's $4,000 grail is missing from its own census entirely. We omit it rather than guess; the price side is real, from live PSA 10 sold comps:

For the shape of OP02 supply, take the deepest resolved chain instead — Alt Art Nami, the set's most-graded card at 1,455 total gradings, 1,283 of them gems (88.2%). Here is her complete PSA pyramid, every grade with real counts:
Modern print quality means the pyramid is top-heavy — most submissions gem, and supply grows every month. What moves any OP02 price is demand against that visible, growing census.
What Is the Rarest OP02 Card in PSA 10?
Paramount War Monkey D. Luffy (OP02-041), at pop 80 — trading at $18, the cheapest line on the entire chase bill. Paramount War Box Topper Donquixote Rosinante (pop 123) and Little Sadi — Alt Art (pop 158)follow. Unlike OP01, the top of this census isn't all base printings and box toppers — genuine alt arts like Little Sadi and Kozuki Oden crack the scarcest ranks simply because few were graded. Whether any of that scarcity ever gets priced depends entirely on demand finding it; in a four-year-old market, that is a genuine open question, not a guarantee.
Which OP02 Cards Are Hardest to Gem?
One Piece cards gem at rates vintage collectors wouldn't recognize — 85–90% is normal for an alt art that goes straight from pack to sleeve to submission. OP02's hard-gem tail has two standouts: the base Paramount War Luffy at 71% — a printing that lived in actual decks — and, unusually, an alt art: Whitebeard himself, Alt Art Edward Newgate, gems at just 74.8% across 771 gradings:
| # | Card | Gem rate | PSA 10s / total graded | PSA 10 price | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | OP02-041 Paramount War Monkey D. Luffy | 71.4% | 80 / 112 | $18 | |
| 2 | OP02-001 Edward Newgate — Alt Art | 74.8% | 577 / 771 | $126 | |
| 3 | OP02-093 Smoker — Alt Art | 82.3% | 539 / 655 | $111 | |
| 4 | OP02-072 Zephyr — Alt Art | 85.0% | 288 / 339 | $62 | |
| 5 | OP02-026 Sanji — Alt Art | 85.8% | 651 / 759 | $300 | |
| 6 | OP02-062 Monkey D. Luffy — Alt Art | 86.5% | 783 / 905 | $109 | |
| 7 | OP02-108 Paramount War Box Topper Donquixote Rosinante | 87.2% | 123 / 141 | $50 | |
| 8 | OP02-073 Little Sadi — Alt Art | 87.3% | 158 / 181 | $40 |

Is OP02 Scarcity Priced In?
Barely at all — and that is the honest headline of this page. Price divided by PSA 10 population is what the market pays per unit of gem supply:
| Card | PSA 10 price | PSA 10 pop | Price per pop unit |
|---|---|---|---|
| OP02-001 Edward Newgate — Alt Art | $126 | 577 | $0.22 |
| OP02-018 Marco — Alt Art | $50 | 233 | $0.21 |
| OP02-026 Sanji — Alt Art | $300 | 651 | $0.46 |
| OP02-030 Kozuki Oden — Alt Art | $31 | 228 | $0.14 |
| OP02-031 Paramount War Box Topper Kozuki Toki | $62 | 209 | $0.30 |
| OP02-036 Nami — Alt Art | $99 | 1283 | $0.08 |
The whole resolved set tops out around $0.46per unit of supply — literal cents, where vintage WOTC cards clear thousands per pop unit. And this table has a blind spot OP01's doesn't: OP02's three most expensive printings — the Manga Rare Ace and both SP alt arts — have no resolved chains at all, so the census can only rank the set's cheap seats. Two readings: One Piece gems are cheap relative to their census, or vintage attention hasn't arrived yet and may never arrive at vintage scale. This market is four years old and has never traded through a downturn — both readings deserve weight. The cross-set comparison lives in the One Piece investing pillar.
OP02 Pop Report FAQ
How many PSA 10 OP02 Paramount War cards are there?
7,941 as of the July 2026 GemRate chain, across 17 resolved English printings from 9,149 total gradings. 8 tracked printings — including the $4,000 Manga Rare Ace — have no resolved chain yet and are omitted rather than guessed.
What is the rarest OP02 card in PSA 10?
The Paramount War Monkey D. Luffy at pop 80, trading at $18 — while its alt art counterpart sits at pop 589. The scarcest OP02 cards are the printings nobody grades, not the expensive ones.
Is this pop report free?
Yes. PSA's official population report requires an account login; this census is free, exact where GemRate chains resolve, English printings only, and refreshed monthly.
Do OP02 pop counts change?
Faster than any vintage set — new submissions gem at 85%+ and print runs are recent, so supply grows every month. We snapshot populations monthly; a card whose price holds while its pop climbs is demonstrating real demand.
Trade the census: the One Piece index prices the market daily, the OP02 chase-set bill prices this exact list, and the live deal feed is where underpriced supply surfaces.
