eBay saved search alerts not working? Here is every fix

First, confirm the search is actually saved with email on

On eBay, open My eBay, then Saved Searches. Each saved search has its own email toggle, and it is off by default in some flows. Open the search and confirm the email switch is on. Run these in order. Most dead saved searches come back after step 2 or 3.

• Delete and recreate the saved search. Long-lived saved searches sometimes go quiet after eBay platform changes, and a fresh save resets them.
• If nothing works, contact eBay support with the specific search named. Outages of saved search email are common enough that eBay staff acknowledge them in community threads.

The limit you cannot fix with settings

Even when everything works, eBay sends saved search emails at most once per day, and only when new listings match in the prior 24 hours. That cadence is the product working as designed.
