1. What CardboardSniper is

CardboardSniper (“the Service”, “we”, “us”) is a software tool that monitors publicly available eBay listings and notifies you when listings appear to match search criteria you define. The Service also displays informational price estimates derived from historical sales data. Our sole service is suggesting listings that may interest you.

2. What CardboardSniper is not

• We are not a marketplace.You cannot buy, sell, bid, or transact on the Service. All purchases, bids, and payments occur exclusively on eBay (or the relevant third-party platform), under that platform's own terms, protections, and dispute processes. We are not a party to any transaction.
• We do not verify listings.We make no representation or warranty of any kind about any listing we surface, including authenticity, condition, grading accuracy, legitimacy of the seller, availability, or accuracy of the listing's description or images. A listing appearing in the Service is not an endorsement, authentication, or recommendation to purchase.
• Price estimates are informational only.“Market value,” “comps,” and “deal” indicators are automated estimates based on historical data. They may be wrong, stale, or inapplicable to a specific item. They are not appraisals, investment advice, or a guarantee of value or resale price.
• We are not affiliated with eBay Inc., TCGplayer, PSA, BGS, CGC, SGC, or any grading company or marketplace. All trademarks belong to their owners.

3. Your responsibility for purchases

Any decision to bid on or buy an item is yours alone. You are solely responsible for performing your own due diligence on any item, seller, and price before transacting on eBay. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we accept no responsibility or liability for any purchase you make, any item you receive (or don't receive), any item that proves inauthentic, misgraded, damaged, or misdescribed, or any loss of money or value arising from a transaction you entered after seeing a listing through the Service.

4. Subscriptions and billing

The Service is offered as a monthly subscription. Billing is handled by Stripe. You may cancel at any time via the billing portal; access continues through the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

5. Service availability

Listing coverage depends on third-party data sources we do not control. We do not guarantee that every matching listing will be surfaced, that alerts will arrive within any particular time, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three (3) months preceding the claim. In no event will we be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, or lost data, even if advised of the possibility.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to abuse the Service, including attempting to scrape, resell, or redistribute its data or alerts, reverse-engineer it, or use it in violation of any third-party platform's terms. We may suspend accounts that abuse the Service or impose unreasonable load.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or email; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
