Privacy Policy

Effective July 23, 2026

1. What we collect

When you create an account we collect your email address and a password (stored as a hash by our authentication provider, Supabase, so we never see it). As you use the Service we store the alerts you create (search queries, price limits, card details) and the eBay listings matched to them. That's it. No names, addresses, or browsing profiles.

2. Billing data

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number never touches our servers; we store only your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers and your subscription status so we know which alerts to run. Stripe's handling of your payment details is governed by Stripe's privacy policy.

3. Email

We send transactional email only: account confirmation, password resets, and the listing alerts you asked for. Alert emails are sent via Resend and every one includes a one-click unsubscribe. You can also switch alert emails off per-alert or account-wide in Settings. We do not send marketing email and we never share your address.

4. Who processes your data

We rely on a small set of subprocessors to run the Service: Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), Vercel (web hosting), and Heroku (background workers). Each receives only what it needs to do its job. We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.

5. Cookies

We use cookies solely to keep you signed in (authentication session). There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

6. Retention and deletion

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. If you want your account and its data deleted, contact us at support@cardboardsniper.comand we'll remove it, subject to records we're legally required to keep (e.g. billing history).

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR or CCPA jurisdictions), you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us and we'll honor them.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or email; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
