About CardboardSniper

CardboardSniper is an eBay alert service for trading card collectors. You describe a card. CardboardSniper watches eBay around the clock, prices every new listing against real sold comps for that exact card and grade, and alerts you by email and in your feed when a listing appears below market value.

How alerts work

You create an alert by describing a card in plain words, pasting an eBay listing link, or entering a grading cert number from PSA, BGS, CGC, or SGC. CardboardSniper pins the alert to one exact card, so every match and every price is for the right card. New listings that match land in your feed and your inbox within minutes.

How listings are priced

Every listing is compared to sold prices for its own grader and grade. The market value shown is the average of the last 3 real sales for that card in that grade, with outlier sales filtered out. A PSA 8 is judged against PSA 8 sales, a BGS 9.5 against BGS 9.5 sales, and a raw card against raw sales. A listing whose exact grade has no recent sales shows no verdict rather than a borrowed number.

What it costs

A free account includes 3 lookups on the live scanner. Paid plans add alerts and around-the-clock monitoring: Collector at $20 per month runs 1 alert, Sniper at $40 runs 3, Sharpshooter at $60 runs 5, and Dealer at $100 runs 10 with priority checking. Cancel anytime. Full details are on the pricing section.

What CardboardSniper is not

CardboardSniper is not a marketplace. You cannot buy or sell here, and every purchase happens on eBay under eBay's own protections. CardboardSniper finds and prices listings. The full terms are on the terms page.
