The Best OP08 Cards to Invest In (2026): Every Two Legends Chase Variant, in PSA 10
On this page
The best OP08 card to invest in is the Silvers Rayleigh Manga Rare #OP08-118 — the Dark King's comic-panel chase, last verified at $840in PSA 10. But Two Legends (2024) needs a different introduction than any other One Piece set guide we've written: this is the thinnest graded chase market in the series. Every tracked variant in the set — all 27 of them — adds up to about $2,408 in PSA 10. That is roughly a seventh of a single OP05 Gear 5 Luffy Manga ($16,600). Depending on who you are, that number is either a warning or an invitation. This guide prices both readings honestly.
The rules are the same as the rest of the One Piece investing guide: the variant is the card— alt arts, SECs, and stamped promos are separate assets — we track English printings, and reprint products (Royal Blood Treasure Rares, The Best premium boosters, shop collections) are excluded from the tracker entirely. One more data note before the prices: despite the set's name, no Shanks variant appears anywhere in OP08's verified graded data. The cards that actually carry this set are Rayleigh, Ace, and Nami.
What Is the Most Expensive OP08 Card?
The Silvers Rayleigh Manga Rare #OP08-118, at $840. And the honest version of that sentence needs the next one: that price sits on eight verified comps whose last two prints were $1,050 and $372 — a week apart in June 2026. The tape runs from $552 in September 2025 up to a $1,500 print in January 2026 and back down; one of the eight archive comps is even a Chinese-language slab mistitled into the bucket. This is what a thin book looks like: the art is genuinely case-hit scarce, but a single motivated seller can cut the last print by more than half in under a week. Every sale in the archive, live:

What Is Every OP08 Chase Card Worth?
The full tracker: every English OP08 variant with a verified PSA-graded comp, sorted by card number. A dash means no verified sale at that grade — and a PSA 10 always prices above the PSA 9 of the same card. Curation note: the archive is full of OP08-numbered cards from other products — Royal Blood Treasure Rare reprints, The Best Vol. 2 premium boosters, shop collections — and those are excluded here, because a reprint is a different, cheaper asset wearing the same number.

Read the "10s tracked" column before the price column: 14 of the 27 variants have exactly one verified PSA 10 sale, and 20 have two or fewer. Those prices are real, but they are single prints, not markets.
Which OP08 Cards Actually Trade?
The OP08-013 Ace — and almost nothing else. While the rest of the set trades in single comps, the Two Legends Ace has 37 verified PSA 10 sales at a $510 fair market value, making it the set's one genuinely liquid graded card and its second-most-expensive asset. If you want OP08 exposure you can actually exit, this is the card; the full character ladder lives in the Ace investing guide.

Two Legends boosters also carried the OP02-013 Ace SP— an OP02 card by number, so it belongs to that set's ledger, but it is an OP08 pull and trades right alongside its sibling at $537:

After the Ace pair, depth falls off a cliff. The only other books with more than a handful of sales are the Nami alt art — nine comps at $98, the set's second-deepest market (the Nami guide maps why she carries outsized demand) — and the Rayleigh manga itself at eight. Everything else is one to four prints deep.
What Are OP08 Manga Rares, SECs, and Alt Arts Worth?
On paper the hierarchy is the standard one — Manga Rare > SEC > Alt Art > base — but OP08 is the set where the ladder compresses to almost nothing. The Rayleigh manga owns the top, the Ace carries the middle, and every other variant in the set prices at or below the $199Chopper alt art. Strangest of all: the set's SEC, Kaido & Linlin #OP08-119, has a single verified PSA 10 at $25 — a top-rarity class trading below its own base version ($36), which is what one-comp markets do.
The alt-art class is a double-digit shop: the Chopper leader alt art is the class high at $199 — on one comp, dated May 2025, over a year stale — and nearly everything else gems for under $55. That makes OP08 the cheapest place in the hobby to own a complete alternate-art class of a main One Piece booster set:

Are English or Japanese OP08 Cards Worth More?
English — which is why English is what this guide tracks. Japanese printings of the same variants generally run 2x to 4x cheaper because Japanese print runs are far larger; One Piece is a Japanese-first game, the reverse of vintage Pokémon. Treat a Japanese slab as a separate, cheaper asset, not a discount on the prices in this table.
Is OP08 a Good Investment?
Only if you price the thinness both ways. The bull reading: the entire PSA 10 chase run of a 2024 main-set booster costs about $2,408 — a genuine entry point in a game whose OP05 grails run five figures, anchored by an Ace with a real, verified uptrend and 37 sales of depth. The bear reading is the same number: prices this low on books this shallow mean the market has not decided these cards matter yet, and 14-of-27 single-comp pricing means your exit may take months or a haircut. The $372 Rayleigh print a week after a $1,050 one is what selling into a thin bid actually looks like.
One more honesty item from the data: reprints stalk this set. OP08 numbers reappear as Royal Blood Treasure Rares, in The Best Vol. 2, and in shop products — all excluded above, and worth checking titles for before you buy a "Two Legends" slab. The OP08-052 Ace alt art is the cautionary tale: its comp set is so polluted with Treasure Rare listings that we do not publish a clean PSA 10 price for it at all. The One Piece TCG is four years old and has never traded through a bear market. Size positions like it's venture, not bonds. Nothing here is financial advice.
