A complete PSA 10 Neo Destiny set costs $396,389 as of July 10, 2026 — every tracked chase card across both printings (1st Edition and Unlimited), priced at gem-mint fair market value from real eBay and Fanatics sold comps. Only Base Set, Legendary Collection, and Skyridge cost more to finish in gem mint — and unlike those, most of this bill is eight cards. Neo Destiny was the last WOTC expansion printed with a 1st Edition stamp, and its eight secret Shinings — numbered #106 to #113, past the set's own 105-card checklist — carry 59% of the 1st Edition cost by themselves.

The total is computed live by our Neo Destiny market index and moves with every verified sale — this article re-prices monthly. It is one chapter of the full WOTC set-cost guide, and its population twin is the Neo Destiny pop report — itself part of the free WOTC pop report.

How Much Does a Complete PSA 10 Neo Destiny Set Cost?

$396,389. That covers the 41 Neo Destiny printings our index tracks with live comps: the Dark and Light holo run plus Miracle Energy in both printings, and all eight Shinings. It is also one of the fastest-repricing baskets in the hobby — up 118% since February, from $181,995 to $396,389. The set more than doubled in six months:

Complete PSA 10 Neo Destiny set: cost to build, 2026Monthly · Neo Destiny index · real eBay & Fanatics sold comps

The move is broad but Shining-led: this month alone the 1st Edition Shining Mewtwo repriced +190.9% and the 1st Edition Shining Kabutops +101.4%, with the Unlimited Shinings running just as hot. Complete-set cost is a price series, not a demand series — when eight triple-star cards with populations in the low hundreds all catch bids in the same season, the whole set total moves with them. For the population side of the same coin — how many of these gems even exist — see the Neo Destiny pop report.

What Does Every Neo Destiny Card Cost in PSA 10?

The itemized bill: 23 cards, both printings side by side. This is the set that gave the hobby its Dark/Light duality — corrupted Dark Feraligatr and Dark Gengar sharing a checklist with gentle Light Dragonite and Light Arcanine — capped by the eight Shinings at the bottom of the table. Every card links to its live price page; the footer row is the complete-run total. A dash means that printing has no tracked PSA 10 comp in the archive — five Unlimited holos (Dark Ampharos, Dark Espeon, Dark Feraligatr, Dark Scizor, Dark Tyranitar) trade so rarely in gem mint that no verified 10 has crossed the tape recently. Those are real gaps in the market, not gaps in the data — and they mean the true complete-Unlimited number is higher than the footer total. The 1st Edition column, unusually for a WOTC set, is complete: every stamped card has a live gem comp.

One honest caveat baked into that table: some of these gem markets are two-comps-a-year thin. The Unlimited Light Togetic shows $10,200 — above the $5,8801st Edition — on just two tracked sales, and the Unlimited Shining Mewtwo's PSA 9 ($3,350) trades within a few percent of its PSA 10 ($3,510). Treat cells like those as "last verified sale," not "what you'd pay tomorrow."

How Much Is a Shining Charizard PSA 10?

$57,600 in 1st Edition and $6,300 in Unlimited. The 1st Edition Shining Charizard alone is 14.5% of the entire set cost; add the $38,400 1st Edition Shining Mewtwo and two cards are 24% of the bill. Zoom out to all eight Shinings and the concentration is the whole story: $143,260 of the $244,347 1st Edition run — 59% — sits in the eight cards numbered past the checklist. Neo Destiny follows the rule that holds across every WOTC set: complete-set costs are grail-heavy. Here is the card that is most of the number, live:

The practical consequence cuts both ways. If you want Neo Destiny exposure, the Shining Charizard is the position and everything else is rounding. If you want the complete-set achievement, you can own the entire Dark and Light holo run in 1st Edition PSA 10 for $101,087 — and still be 59% short of done by cost.

How Much Does a PSA 9 Neo Destiny Set Cost Instead?

$43,514 for the complete 1st Edition run in PSA 9 — less than a fifth of the gem-mint version — and the tracked Unlimited printings in PSA 9 run just $17,002. This is the sane-collector build: the same cards, the same stamp, one grade down, at a discount that exists because of grading scarcity, not card scarcity. The PSA 9 vs PSA 10 guidecovers when that discount is a gift and when it's fair, and the PSA 10 value calculatorprices any single card's premium.

What Is the Cheapest Way to Complete a Neo Destiny Set?

Three builds, in ascending order of pain:

  • 1st Edition PSA 9 run — $43,514. Every tracked card, stamped, including all eight Shinings, for less than the price of a single 1st Edition Shining Charizard in PSA 10.
  • Mixed all-gem path — $90,571. A PSA 10 of every card, taking whichever printing is cheaper for each. This is the onlyall-gem path under six figures — a pure Unlimited build can't be finished at all, because five Dark holos have no tracked Unlimited 10 to buy.
  • 1st Edition PSA 10 run — $244,347. The trophy build, and — rare for WOTC — one you can actually finish, since every stamped card has a live gem comp. Plan the Shinings last: they are 59% of the budget, and the Dark/Light holos are liquidity practice by comparison.

Whichever build you pick, the live deal feed surfaces below-market graded Neo Destiny inventory across Collector Crypt, Courtyard, and Phygitals, and the Neo Destiny investing guide ranks every card on this bill by the numbers.
